Job Description

Providence Medical Group and St Joseph Hospital in Eureka, California are seeking a fellowship trained Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon for a full-time position. There is currently significant demand for joint replacement services in this community and you will be part of a strong orthopedic team consisting of a fellowship trained shoulder specialist, a fellowship trained orthopedic trauma specialist, a fellowship trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon, an excellent total joint surgeon and an orthopedic navigator. These providers are part of an outstanding program that was named a "Blue Distinction Program for Hips and Knees" by Blue Cross Blue Shield of California. In addition to being fellowship trained in total joints reconstruction, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, self-motivation and the willingness to work closely with support staff.   • Management of patients in the nearby communities of Eureka and Fortuna

  • 7 days per-month on call
  • Surgeon will have mid-level support from an orthopedic navigator
  • Must be board-certified/board-eligible
  • Level III Trauma Center
  • Experienced orthopedic physician preferred, but new graduates who are fellowship trained in total joint will be considered
  • H1B and J1 visa candidates accepted
