The position calls for a generalist who will see everything from fractures to total knees, hips and shoulders. A sports background would be a plus. Community demand shows a need of three Orthos. Hospital call will be 1:3. Starr services a combined primary and secondary service area of over 110,000. The hospital has three fully equipped operating rooms with excellent diagnostic imaging and PT services available. Ten days of required ER call per month and the assistance of a hospitalist program that provides inpatient care.
