Only 30 minutes from Nashville, Sumner Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join staff. A supportive referral base from our primary and secondary service areas will welcome a new surgeon to our family. The position calls for the new surgeon to have skills in minimally invasive surgery, hip and knee replacement, fractures, trauma, plasma rich protein injections, shoulder and elbow reconstruction, arthroscopic and rotator cuff surgery. A fellowship in adult reconstruction would be ideal. The new physician will be joining an established three physician private group with hospital call averaging 1:6. The physician will work in one of the groups clinics located in Gallatin, a short drive from Nashville. The hospital offers a full-time hospitalist program to provide quality inpatient care. Gallatin is the county seat and has a growing population of over 32,000 with an influx of young families. Sumner County has a population of over 170,000. Gallatin boasts a revitalized downtown, with a square featuring new shops, restaurants, boutiques, and entertainment venues.
