We are hiring a pediatric ENT to join an exceptional practice in the Tampa area created specifically for pediatric patients. Led by two exceptionally well trained and experienced physicians, our team also includes pediatric audiologists, pediatric anesthesiologists, and pediatric nurses trained to manage the specific needs of children. 
Evaluation of Need 
• We are seeking a Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join the practice due to excess demand and need in the community. 
• There are over 250,000 children in Kindergarten through Twelfth grade in Hillsborough County alone. Our practice draws from 9 surrounding counties. 
Brandon Regional Hospital is the main referral center for 15 surrounding HCA hospitals and is committed to developing a full pediatric specialty program. This includes fellowship trained pediatric anesthesia, pediatric critical care and a pediatric aerodigestive team. A dedicated pediatric emergency room is also in the pipeline. We are looking for a pediatric otolaryngologist to help us develop the pediatric ent program. 
Hours: Typical office hours are 8-5 Monday through Friday, but the incoming physician will only be responsible for a 4.5 day work week. The first patient scheduled for 8:30 and the staff usually wraps up the day around 5PM. Current physicians now work approximately 40 hours per week and take a half day a week off. Their desire is the incoming physician will maintain the same practice volumes and level of service that they currently provide. 
Call: The current call is very light and the covering physician receives an average of three calls per week. Current weekend practice call will be split between 2 other physicians in town. Ancillary call opportunities also provide opportunity for additional bonus income. 
Candidate Parameters: A strong candidate would have a one year fellowship in Pediatric ENT, not just experience with Pediatrics. The fellowship program does not have to be accredited by the ACGME.
