Flowers Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Pain Medicine Physician to assist in the care of a large, growing number of patients in the area.  This is a hospital employed opportunity and the candidate would be joining an existing physician who is nearing retirement in the next 2 years.

• 100% Outpatient
• Extremely busy practice with many strong referral relationships across numerous specialties 
• Candidate should be able to do all traditional interventional pain procedures including blocks and steroid injections
• The preferred candidate we will also do radiofrequency nerve ablations, intrathecal pump implants, and electrical stimulator implants.
• 350,000 population
• Dedicated pain center, serving 10-20 patients per day, minimum
• Highly trained nursing staff and all modern equipment

Hospital Owned Practice: Dothan Neuro-Spine-Pain

The outpatient clinic space is contemporary, professionally managed, with plenty of space available for patient visits.  Flowers Hospital is partnered with a large orthopedic surgery group, two neurosurgeons, and three spine surgeons, who work in close collaboration with our pain management program.  Flowers also employs over 25 primary care providers, who offer a robust front-door to the program. 

The compensation package would be very competitive, and include full benefits, a 401(k) program, and additional time off for continuing medical education. For candidates in residency, we have the ability to provide a residency stipend for the duration of your training. We can also offer student loan repayment, in some situations.

Dothan is a wonderful community of approximately 60,000 residents. The work-week population, however, grows to almost 300,000 which would allow any new specialty provider to enter into a busy practice early on.  Dothan has low crime rates and is an excellent community to raise a family with affordable housing. Dothan has an airport that offers multiple flights per day into and out of Atlanta, GA.  Dothan is also within a 1.5 hour drive to the beautiful beaches of Destin and Panama City Beach, FL.
