Are you a visionary with a passion for hospice program development and superior clinical quality? As the Medical Director of Providence Hospice, you’ll be a key player in crafting a unifying, strategic roadmap for the largest purpose-driven hospice program in Oregon. You’ll lead an outstanding team of physicians and nurse practitioners offering community-based services in Portland, Hood River, Mt. Angel, Medford, and expansion into SW Washington (Clark County).

Providence Hospice has an average census of 550 and is known for its team-based, interdisciplinary approach — including social workers, clinical pharmacists, chaplains, registered nurses and amazing volunteers. It’s part of an integrated Home & Community Care program that includes Home Health and Palliative Medicine. Where You’ll Work

The Oregon Region Hospice Program is responsible for the medical direction and oversight of hospice services throughout the region’s ministries, including care provided in home settings and intermediate care, assisted living and acute care facilities. The primary goal is to provide support that allows patients to spend their time living as they wish, ideally in familiar surroundings in the company of family and friends.
