Seeking an experienced physician leader to act as medical director for a group of 27 pathologists and PhDs employed by an integrated health system. The new medical director will provide leadership to such varied groups as Cytopathology, Neuropathology, Surgical Pathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Renal Pathology, Breast Pathology, GI Pathology and Lung Pathology. • Board-certified in both Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology preferred
• Successful candidate will have excellent clinical and research skills
• Must have demonstrated leadership abilities and proven success in leading a diverse, complex and well-balanced department
• Contribute to collaborative research partnerships with Providence Cancer Institute and Providence Clinical programs
