West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, FL is recruiting a Pediatric Intensivist Site Medical Director to build a Pediatric ICU Unit at the facility. The incoming Site Medical Director will both function in a supervisory role as well as diagnose and treat children admitted to a new General Pediatric Unit and a new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This is a partnership with an established pediatric health care system and will be employed with that system. 

The group has 25 providers spanning 11 Pediatric sub-specialties (including Orthopedics, GI, Pulmonary, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Urology, Otolaryngology). The established providers are eagerly waiting the opening of the unit so our more complex patients can stay at West Florida Hospital, a Leapfrog Grade A hospital.
