TeamHealth is seeking a part-time physician to work 7-8 shifts a month in the pediatric emergency department at Memorial Hospital Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida. Memorial Hospital is a state-of-the-art 418-bed full-service acute care medical facility, and their brand new re-designed and larger ED and Pediatric ED opened in July 2018. All rooms are private and include child-friendly artwork and special lighting and colors. The pediatric ED sees 14,000 patients visits annually and has 8 rooms. Physicians work 8-hour shifts from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 12:00 am. PALS certification is required and physicians must have completed a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship.
