About El Paso Children's Hospital Emergency Department- Annual patient volume of 27,000
- 13-bed ED
- EMR: Cerner
- CLEO dictation for efficient, accurate clinical documentation, reducing administrative responsibility and supporting real-time patient care
- 24 hours of physician coverage
- 12-24 hours of APC coverage
Position Requirements- PEM board certification is primarily offered through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) and the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM); physicians must be certified in either pediatrics or EM, complete an ACGME-accredited fellowship, and pass the combined specialty exam
- Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
- Texas medical license and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date
