­Envision Physician Services is seeking a Full-Time PEM ­Physician to Join Our Team at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia which is only minutes to our Nation's Capital.

The Inova Fairfax Medical Campus (member of Inova Health System) is a 923-bed tertiary care hospital serving Northern Virginia’s diverse socioeconomic and international communities.

This emergency department is a unique blend of community pediatrics and academic training. While education is the primary focus of our academic engagement, with volume growth and closer university affiliation, clinical research is taking on more of a priority. We are seeking eager, engaged clinicians seeking a balanced academic and clinical career who value a being part of a tight-knit team.

Pediatric Emergency Medicine Position Profile:

• Level I pediatric trauma center
• 133,000 annual ED visits with 45,000 pediatric visits
• 26 PICU & 108 level IV NICU beds servicing one of the busiest OB programs in the nation
• Most pediatric subspecialty support available
• The Michael Altieri Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship has been in existence for more than 20 years with 5 fellows in training. The emergency department also serves as the only academic pediatric emergency department in the Northern Virginia region and is responsible for supporting at least 8 different residency programs, include two emergency medicine, two pediatric, 3 military, and one family practice program.
