Connecticut Children's is seeking a Neonatologist to serve in our community NICU system. The primary unit is located in eastern New York. This position will be located within our care alliance partnership with Nuvance Health. The unit is a busy Level 3b NICU as well as couplet care for normal, healthy newborns. The staff covers the hospital service and comprises four attendings and five advanced practitioners with an abundance of subspecialty support. The hospital has a Neonatal Transport system and also covers NNPs that are at a nearby Level 1B.
Our Division of Neonatology currently consists of faculty members nationally recognized in basic, clinical, quality, patient safety, and epidemiologic research. Connecticut Children's faculty have their academic appointments through the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and additional academic appointments are available. This position will be responsible for teaching medical students and family practice residents. As a division member you will also have access to an expansive array of resources as well as available scholarly activities within Connecticut Children's Medical Center, The University of Connecticut School of Medicine, University of Connecticut Storrs, Jackson Laboratories as well as our other academic partners.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Candidates must have an M.D., or D.O. degree, be board eligible or certified in Pediatrics and/or Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine as appropriate. Active Scholarly Program with publication history is desirable but not required. Academic title at the University of Connecticut will be commensurate with academic credentials.
