Seeking Neonatologist To Help Build Level II NICU!

Envision Physician Services is seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist to join our Medical Director in the Level II NICU at HCA Fort Walton Beach Medical Center (FWBMC). The Neonatologist cares for all patients in the 12-bed Level II NICU/newborn nursery and attends high-risk deliveries. NRP certification is required. This opportunity is best suited for someone with at least 2+ years’ experience. With an ADC of 3 in the NICU and 4 in the Nursery (based on 2022 YTD volumes), this position is great for someone who likes spending time with parents discussing the care of their babies. The staffing model allows for great work/life balance with a block schedule, and the close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico warrants a laid-back lifestyle.

FWBMC is a 267-bed hospital with a medical staff of over 200 physicians, part of the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). It is the only acute care hospital in the Tri-County area that offers open heart surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a Cancer Care Center that is accredited by the Commission on Cancer and an Associate of the University of Alabama (UAB) at Birmingham Health System Cancer Community Network. FWBMC also has a psychiatric treatment center, advanced care for critically ill patients, including cardiovascular and neonatal intensive care units, and emergency services, including a main ER, Pediatric ER and Express ER.
