Seeking Neonatologist for Expanding Level II NICU in Jupiter, FL!

Envision Physician Services is seeking an experienced Neonatologist for our expanding Level II NICU at Jupiter Medical Center (JMC). The facility just opened up a newly constructed 16-bed Level II NICU last year. Along with the unveiling of the new unit, the practice is also adding Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage to support the growing service line and provide in-house Neonatology support 24/7.

Opportunity Details:

• Staffing Model: 2 Neonatologists; 4.5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
• Schedule:
  • Week on/off schedule (Off 6-months out of the year!)
  • In-house during the day
  • Call from home at night
• 16-bed Level II NICU (opened December 2019)
  • 32 weeks gestational age/1500 grams birthweight and above
  • 14 room postpartum unit with well-baby nursery rounding responsibilities (expanding in March 2020)
• Delivery attendance:
  • All cesarean sections and high-risk vaginal births
  • 8 labor rooms
  • 2 OB operating rooms
  • 3 triage beds (Expanding in March 2020 to include 3 antepartum rooms)
• Hands-on care for all procedural skills
• Education and teaching opportunities for nurses and respiratory therapists as level of care/acuity increases
• Adding 4.5 NNPs to have in-house coverage 24/7
• 2019 Deliveries: 1,609
