Connecticut Children's, a nationally recognized, 187-bed not-for-profit children's hospital, is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to work as a Neonatal Hospitalist. The chosen candidate will join our Division of Newborn Medicine, supporting our locations in the Hudson Valley in Eastern NY.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical, teaching, and communication skills. Clinical responsibility will be primarily focused on supporting our Neonatal program at Putnum Hospital in Hamlet NY. Care will focus on the management of Level IB babies plus delivery room attendance and resuscitation. Opportunities for clinical research and quality improvement are available and will be supported. Teaching of medical students, and Family Medicine residents is expected. Academic appointment is provided through the UCONN School of Medicine. A minimum of 2 years post residency experience is required.
