Envision is searching for Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our practice at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Physician Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine OR Board Certified in Pediatrics with Pediatric Emergency Medicine experience

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is the area’s premier facility with a true functioning Pediatric center and everything you would need as a practicing physician. We have 8,000 annual visits in the dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department with 24/hr dedicated PED trained nurses, child life specialists, and more. Peds Orthopedics, Peds Surgery, Peds Radiology, Peds Cardiology, Peds Neurology, and Peds Gastroenterology, Peds Endocrine, Peds Infectious Disease, and Peds Intensivists.

Pediatric Emergency Department Profile:

• 5,000 annual patient visits
• 12-bed pediatric emergency department
• Staffed 24 hours per day; 12-hour shifts
• Employee status with benefits to include, health, dental, vision, 401k, BERA (business expense reimbursement account) and paid mal and tail insurance.

PEM physicians only work in the PEDS ED & never in the Main ED unless caring for a patient that meets trauma criteria and being seen in Main ED

Overland Park Regional is a licensed 343-bed facility offering acute and outpatient medical care services to the Overland Park community and the surrounding areas. The pediatric ER treats Johnson County's youngest patients. The facility is the only ER in Johnson County that includes a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
