Position Description
Portland, Oregon — Seeking an exceptional physician leader who is fellowship trained in a Pediatric Surgical specialty, such as Pediatric Orthopedics or Pediatric Otolaryngology, to act as Medical Director of Children’s Surgery. Full-time position. Competitive compensation; comprehensive benefits. Experience as a physician leader required. Experience with continuous quality improvement, NSQIP Pediatric, and the ACS Children’s Surgery Verification program preferred. Position will report to the Regional Children’s Services Medical Director and the Chief of Surgery at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. Responsibilities include direction of employed and contracted pediatric surgical specialists, leading performance improvement and patient safety, and clinical oversight of quality for children’s surgical services.
