TeamHealth is hiring a
full-time physician role to provide patient care (Monday through Friday) in an
inpatient rehab facility located in the
Middletown, Delaware, area.
Job Duties- Rounding in an inpatient rehab facility (IRF)
- Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
- Collaborate with clinicians, facility leaders and others regarding care and services
- Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
- Provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to our nurse practitioners
- Conduct clinical case reviews, as needed and share tools, information, and guidelines as they relate to quality of care
- Represent TeamHealth on appropriate external levels engaging and establishing/maintaining relationships within the post-acute care community
- Collaborate with leadership to review care coordination initiatives, develop collaborative intervention plans, and share ideas about network management issues
Qualifications- 1+ years experience in internal medicine (IM) or related specialty
- Post-acute care experience a plus, but not required; candidates with internal medicine (IM), family medicine (FM)/primary care, emergency medicine (EM) or related experience welcome to apply
- Active and unrestricted Delaware license
- Active and unrestricted Delaware DEA
Estimated compensation range is $223,000 to $273,426 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
