Position Description

Anchorage, Alaska - Seeking an experienced BC/BE Psychiatrist and leader to serve as a key mental health provider in our Behavioral Mental Health clinic part-time (0.5 FTE). Competitive compensation at or above market and benefits package. This is a great opportunity to work as a core member of a multi-disciplinary, collaborative team that includes primary care providers, clinic nursing staff, system-wide care and case management staff, pharmacists, and substance abuse specialists. This Chief role would be available once a provider had established their practice and was familiar with the flow of the department along with the opportunity for future leadership positions in the department, as we look to grow leaders from within. Our Psychiatrists provide clinical supervision to behavioral case managers as well as conducting diagnostic assessments and providing treatment recommendations for patients.
