Excellent Psychiatry Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Opening in Norwalk, Connecticut (50 miles from New York City)
Nuvance Health Medical Practice Connecticut is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work in our Intensive Outpatient Program, outpatient office, and upcoming Dual Diagnosis IOP at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut. We are located in suburban Fairfield County, about 50 miles northeast of New York City. Our established and busy practice has seven psychiatrists and one nurse practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our upcoming new Dual Diagnosis IOP and has leadership potential for interested candidates. Schedule is largely Monday through Friday with sporadic call coverage as needed to cover the service. There are also opportunities to provide moonlighting coverage for the inpatient unit and / or Emergency Room.
The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner with previous behavioral health experience and/ or training in a multi-disciplinary setting. Spanish speaking a plus. This is an employed position with a highly competitive compensation package, including allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses.
Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year.
