TeamHealth is seeking a qualified psychiatrist in the Rockford, Illinois, area to join our behavioral health team. Serve as a full time psychiatrist rounding; after 1 year there is potential for medical director for three behavioral health units and round in the facilities monthly. We ask that candidates have an active Illinois or Wisconsin license and board certification in psychiatry to apply. As a psychiatrist with TeamHealth you work with a collaborative team and shared goals, you provide On-site psychiatric medication management, we help you understand the post-acute rating systems and guidelines to ensure clinical quality and patient safety as well as patient and family satisfaction with services, there is potential for Individual and group psychotherapy services utilizing doctoral-level licensed clinical psychologists or LCSW. As a psychiatrist we offer collaborative opportunities and reimbursement for your supervising of PMHNP�s. You will also work closely with the facility and pharmacy on resources to help the address reduction in use of psychotropic medications.
