Inpatient Psychiatrist -
Cooley Dickinson Hospital- Northampton, MA
Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts is seeking a full-time inpatient psychiatrist. Our ideal candidate will be BE/BC in psychiatry and actively licensed in Massachusetts.
This position will join a treatment team with two other inpatient psychiatrists as well as per diem physicians and advanced practitioners responsible for a DMH licensed unit census of 22 adult patients. This role will be a combination of inpatient and consult coverage in our emergency department and medical floors. The average number of consults is 3 to 4 per day.
Our emergency department has a designated care area for psychiatric crises which accounts for roughly 10 % of people who visit our ED each day.
There is an additional stipend for on-call coverage, with a maximum call of 1 week in 8. Competitive compensation, complemented by a full benefits package, is offered with this position.
