Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts is seeking a staff psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner to split their time between Emergency Department and inpatient floor consultations and outpatient services.

Join the treatment team with 2 other inpatient psychiatrists responsible for a busy 24-bed adult psychiatric unit. As well as an outpatient behavioral health psychiatrist and a LICSW. Our emergency department has a designated care area for Psychiatric crises which accounts for roughly 10 % of people who visit our ED each day.

We are looking to expand our scope of consultative services and this provider will have an opportunity to work with our hospital based and medical group practices.

Maximum call is 1 week in 6, with less call possible. Competitive compensation, complemented by a full benefits package, is offered with the position. Additional stipend will be provided for weekend call coverage.
