Join the exceptional team at Providence Portland Medical Center as a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in Portland, Oregon. In addition, become an integral part of the Providence Willamette Falls school program, supporting the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit. This 20-bed unit serves children aged 5 to 17 with mental and behavioral needs, providing education instruction for four hours daily, focusing on academic curriculum, tutoring, and homework coordination. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, families, and schools, to facilitate student transitions and provide recommendations for 504 plans, IEPs, and school re-entry
- Monday to Friday with rotating night and weekend call
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry
- OR license and DEA certification
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Minimum of 2 weekends annually, potentially including holidays
