Great opportunity for BC/BE Psychiatrists to join a multi-disciplinary treatment team consisting of* Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, LPN's, Patient Care Coordinators (Social Workers), and Mental Health Technicians at Lehigh Valley Hospital * Pocono in northeastern Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include adult inpatient behavioral health program and will have the opportunity for some outpatient work if desired. *
We are growing the Department of Psychiatry across our network which currently comprises more than 25 Psychiatrists and 130 mental health professionals.
LVH-Pocono is a 230 bed hospital campus in East Stroudsburg, Pa with over 215 physicians on the medical staff. The Pocono campus has a 41-bed emergency department that records over 80,000 annual patient visits, 10 new surgical suites and a large ambulatory surgical area. We recently opened two brand new 60,000 sq. ft. freestanding health centers which feature primary care, specialists, and key services all under one roof. Through a January 2017 merger this campus joined Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN).
