The Practice
- Four member practice desire to add a 5th board certified/eligible pulmonary & critical care physician.
- Private group that covers two hospitals and one LTAC facility.
- Call frequency is 1 x 5.
- Multiple sites are covered but not all on the same day. Typical schedule: one week in hospital; one week in office; one week half and half. Mixture of inpatient and outpatient is 50/50.
- Sleep medicine not required but a plus.

The Hospital and the Michiana Area
- Saint Joseph Health System (SJHS)-Mishawaka, has been in the Michiana region for over 100 years. The new 254-bed hospital was built in 2009. SJHS also has a 58-bed hospital in Plymouth, IN. Memorial Hospital of South Bend and Kindred Hospital are the other facilities covered by this group.
- SJHS offers all private rooms; some of the services provided include oncology, neurology, obstetrics, surgery, pediatrics, and orthopedics.
- The Michiana area, north-central Indiana and south-western Michigan, has a population of more than 240,000. The SJRMC service area has a population of over 700,000.
- Known for the legendary University of Notre Dame, the area boasts several colleges and universities, along with multiple reputable private and public school systems.
- Friendly Midwest community with close proximity to Chicago, Indianapolis, and Michigan's West Coast.
- Very reasonable cost of living.
