Job Description

Envision is looking for another critical care physician to join our existing team at this established intensivist program at St. David's South Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX!

South Austin Medical Center / Program Highlights:

  • 368 Bed Hospital with a busy ER, BMT program, large catchment area, supportive administration, a full spectrum of talented and collegial subspecialists, and a wide range of pathology
  • 20 Bed ICU, 8 Bed Cardiac ICU
  • Hospitalist services as primary with Critical Care Consultation
  • Average ICU Census of 15-30
  • Work with experienced and capable NP support
  • Dynamic and capable team that values work/life balance
  • 10-15 shifts a month
  • Competitive Hourly Rate
  • Room for growth of program including ECMO
  • Separate trauma service line

St. David’s South Austin Medical Center is part of St. David’s HealthCare, one of the largest health systems in Texas, which was recognized with a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2014. St. David's South Austin Medical Center is an acute care facility with 344 beds, offering a range of complex specialties and sub-specialties, including a nationally accredited oncology program with the area’s only adult bone marrow transplant program; a trauma program that includes all of the capabilities and programmatic elements of a Level II trauma center to treat the most severely injured and critical patients; a comprehensive cardiac program; full-service maternity and newborn care with Level I and II nurseries; and three full-service emergency centers in the communities of Bee Cave, Bastrop and Buda.
