Due to the departure of a busy practitioner in the community, looking for BC/BE Pulmonary/Critical Care physician for central Alabama. Work collectively with the University of Alabama Birmingham-Selma Family Medicine Residency Program (15 current residents) and 4 attending physicians to assist with hospitalist coverage for Vaughan Regional Medical Center. The practice will be both inpatient and outpatient, with critical care coverage (10 ICU and 10 CCU beds), vent management and outpatient clinic services. There is clinic space convenient to the hospital to promote efficiency. The position will be employed by the University of Alabama-Birmingham Health Services Foundation with voluntary non-tenure appointment.
