Job Description

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine/ University of Kansas Cancer Center, an NCI designated Cancer Center, is looking for a fulltime radiation oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to work in an academic community practice setting.

The position

  • Provide clinical patient care including evaluating inpatient/outpatient consults, on-treatment patients and follow-up patients, simulations, treatment planning, and delivery of ionizing radiation therapy
  • Provide site specific breast care
  • Participate in teaching and other scholarly activities as part of clinical services • Prepare case reports and clinical reviews
  • Initiate breast investigator initiated clinical trials, participate in departmental clinical trials and other research projects
  • Candidate must be a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist
  • Completion of breast fellowship (preferred)
  • Experience working in an academic community practice setting (preferred)
