Responsibilities
Partnering with a medical center in central Iowa that has an opening for a Radiologist to provide locum coverage.
About the Opening:
Schedule: 8a-5p, Monday-Friday
Call shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Case Volume: 60-80 reads per day
IR/DX case mix
PACS: Rad Assist
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & lodging
Render expert interpretation of interventional and diagnostic imaging studies with precision and timeliness.
Execute image-guided interventions with adherence to current best practices and clinical guidelines.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and treatment outcomes.
Maintain rigorous documentation of procedures, consultations, and follow-up plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
Monitor and evaluate patient conditions pre- and post-procedure to ensure safety and treatment efficacy.
Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical practice at all times.
Engage in continuous education and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and departmental performance.

Qualifications
Board certification in Interventional Radiology or Diagnostic Radiology is required.
Extensive experience in image-guided procedures and advanced diagnostic evaluations is preferred.
Must possess or be eligible for state licensure in Iowa.
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing cutting-edge imaging technologies and methodologies is essential.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in a locum tenens setting.
A strong commitment to high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards is expected.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous professional development are vital.
