Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Surgery & Division of Endocrine and Oncological Surgery, is seeking a surgical oncologist.
Qualified Candidates:
- Clinical faculty position at the assistant professor rank
- Candidates should have satisfactorily completed general surgery training at an ACGME-accredited program
- Fellowship training is required in a program approved by the Society of Surgical Oncology
- Responsibilities will include participation in both the academic and research missions of the Tulane Department of Surgery
- In addition to clinical duties, the ideal candidate should have a strong interest and active participation in the education of fellows, residents, and medical students
- Candidate is expected to participate in developing and expanding academic, clinical, and basic research activities devoted to the surgical evaluation and management of oncologic surgery
- Board certified or eligible if recently trained
- Eligible for licensure in Louisiana
- Applicants must have the training to qualify for academic appointment at the assistant professor level
