Responsibilities
Partnered with a leading medical center in northeastern Maryland with exclusive openings for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologists to provide locum coverage.
DX Details:
Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 8a-5p onsite, or Monday-Friday, 8a-5p remote
Setting: On-site or tele
Case Volume: 80-100 per day
Cases: High CT and plain film volume, X-rays, MRI, US, nuclear
IR Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Call Requirement: Weekend beeper call, 5p Friday to 8a Monday
Case Volume: 10-12 procedures per day
Cases: Bread & butter, biliary, CT/US-guided biopsies, drains, XR fluoro, paras, thoras

Qualifications
Board Certified
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered physician Maryland state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as a Radiologist
One year of EMR experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
