Seeking General Radiologist to Join Private Community Practice

Northampton Radiologic Associates is a Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) affiliated hospital-based practice in a top small city and college town. Our affiliated system is comprised of a 140 bed, acute care community hospital and an eleven practice medical group. This position is mostly hospital-based, but the physician will also spend 1 to 2 days a week in an ambulatory setting. We are seeking a full-time physician but there is the possibility of a part-time position, as well.

We offer 10 weeks of vacation and a day off per week. 1/8 weekends. One long call day per week where you may read over 100 exams (radiography the greatest portion), but other days are substantially less.

We are located 2 hours from Boston, 3 hours from NYC, and 5 hours from Montreal.  We are a multicultural area with excellent schools in close proximity to both skiing and the sea coast. 

• Our ideal candidate will be BC/BE in Radiology and looking to practice general radiology.
• Candidate should read all modalities or be willing to train.
• Mammography is a must.
• No interventional aside from pre-MRI arthrograms, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy and thyroid biopsies.
• PET/CT experience or willingness to train preferred.
• Nighthawk 7 days per week.
