Responsibilities
A hospital in northern North Carolina has an opening for a Teleradiologist to assist their team.
About the Opening:
Schedule: 8a-5p or 4p-12a
Setting: Remote
Volume: 56 RVUs per shift
Cases: Neuro, body, MSK
Must be board-certified

Qualifications
Board certification in Radiology with solid experience in interpreting diverse imaging studies via telemedicine.
Strong communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with healthcare teams and patients.
Comfort with both day and evening shifts, bringing flexibility to meet local Northern NC needs.
Proficient in using PACS, EHR systems, and upholding HIPAA standards in remote settings.
A track record of delivering accurate and timely reports, even under fast-paced conditions.
Adaptability to work seamlessly in virtual environments and manage diverse caseloads.
A friendly, team-oriented professional eager to make a positive impact in patient care.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered MD or DO North Carolina state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as a Radiologist
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified
Possession of board certification or equivalent credentials in radiology.
Demonstrated proficiency in teleradiology practices during evening shifts.
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Comprehensive understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and quality assurance standards.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to delivering timely and accurate radiological interpretations.
Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, technology-driven work environment in Western New York.
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
