Job Description

Providence is seeking two BE/BC Radiologists for a private practice in Portland, OR. We are recruiting a partnership-track BC/BE radiologist who has fellowship training or experience in Nuclear Medicine as well as well-rounded Women's Imaging Radiologist to join our outstanding team. The first position requires ability in nuclear medicine, to include PET/CT, I-131 therapies, and cardiac nuclear medicine exams. We are interested in applicants who, in addition to being capable in nuclear medicine, have experience/fellowship training in any number of DR subspecialties (neuro, MSK, body/oncology, women’s imaging). We have internal night coverage by a group of dedicated radiologists. Moonlighting opportunities exist. We have excellent equipment, including 3T and 1.5T magnets, 64-slice CT scanners, PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging, iSite PACS, and voice recognition. Our hospitals use the Epic EMR system. Additionally, we are seeking a well-rounded women's imager to join our outstanding team. We are an independent private practice group of 24 sub-specialty radiologists and 2 PAs providing services at three hospitals and two imaging centers in Portland, Oregon. One of our hospitals is a large, tertiary care facility, which opened Portland’s premier Cancer Center in early 2008, and a full-service Breast Center in 2010. All three hospital breast imaging centers hold ACR Breast Imaging Center of Excellence designations. Each center is fully equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and intervention utilizing Hologic mammography, GE ultrasound, and GE MRI with Dynacad. Our women’s imagers participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumor board conferences and take pride in our role as active participants and leaders within the hospital’s cancer institution. We are a section that enjoys a very collegial relationship with clinicians and staff. In conjunction with Medical Oncology, our women imagers are involved with multiple clinical trials (including a current trial of cryoablation for breast malignancies). We are in need of a radiologist with fellowship training or equivalent experience in Women’s Imaging to join our section. The successful candidate may be on a partnership track, becoming an equal owner and leader of our dynamic independent radiology practice, or may opt for an employment model with no call or weekend duties. The group has internal coverage of night call by a group of dedicated radiologists. Women’s Imaging Section responsibilities include:

  • Breast imaging/ breast related procedures
  • OB/GYN ultrasound
  • Hysterosalpingography and sonohysterography
  • Female Pelvic MRI, including staging for gynecologic malignancies *Thyroid ultrasound and FNA
  • Neonatal imaging We offer:
