TeamHealth has an opportunity for a physician to lead the urgent care team as the Medical Director at CareFast+ in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida, area. This position will involve a mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities, a flexible schedule, and the ability to be either full-time or part-time hours. The ideal candidate offers practice experience in the urgent care or emergency medicine setting, offers leadership or supervisory experience, and an active Florida license & DEA. Current DOT certification is preferred; however, not required to apply for the position. Applicants must be comfortable caring for pediatric to geriatric patients and be proficient with standard urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, minor orthopedic & trauma assessment, wound care management, I&D's, and reading/interpreting x-rays.
