TeamHealth is seeking a family medicine trained physician interested in a PRN urgent care position at ParkMed Urgent Care located in Alcoa, minutes from Knoxville, Tennessee. This practice has been providing primary care, urgent care, and occupational medicine services in the area for over 30 years. Work collaboratively with experienced advanced practice clinicians and support staff in a well-equipped facility with in-house x-ray and lab services. The ideal candidate offers practice experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting, has an active Tennessee medical license, DEA, and DOT certification or willingness to obtain those certifications, and is skilled in suturing, splinting, wound care, minor orthopedics, and interpreting x-rays. The facility is open from 7 am to 5pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 2pm on the weekends. Enjoy the flexibility to pick up shifts, as needed.
