Come to Tucson and join a stable, well-managed collegial practice with full ancillaries located on campus at 400-bed St. Mary’s Hospital. We offer an environment where you can succeed both privately and professionally. The typical daily patient census is 30-35 patients/day during office hours between 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. The call schedule is 1:4 now, but anticipate changing it to 1:5 upon new addition to the practice. We are seeking a 2016 graduate comfortable with ‘Bread & Butter’ urology, but will definitely consider candidates with additional experience.
All members of the group are well-versed in minimally invasive therapies, including robotic surgery with the daVinci platform. The group treats all adult urological conditions, including urological cancers, BPH/prostate problems, incontinence, overactive bladder/female urology, impotence, urinary tract infections, vasectomies, and kidney stones.
Tucson is a city of 1 million people that is often described as having a smaller town feel. Surrounded on all sides by mountain ranges, Tucson is renowned for its natural beauty and sunsets. Located in the high Sonoran desert, it offers great outdoor recreation (hiking, biking, golf, etc.) and is only a 45-minute drive to alpine forests and skiing and 4 hours to the beach in Mexico. Other highlights include more than 350 days of sunshine, affordable housing, low property and gas taxes, and growing communities.
The practice is located at the hub of excellent restaurants, gastropubs and theaters. Tucson is home to Davis Monthan Air Force base, the University of Arizona, and Fortune 500 companies including Raytheon Missile Systems and Roche/Ventana Medical Systems.
