This is an opportunity to be employed by Ephraim McDowell Health Resources; a two physician, board certified urology practice with assistance of a certified physician assistant. We are affiliated with a regional medical center and an outpatient surgery center in Danville, Kentucky.  Join our over 100 physicians on our medical staff representing 30 different specialties.  Work with our robust Hospitalist group that provides in-patient medicine coverage. Medical Staff call is 1:4.

Our flagship hospital, Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, is the only hospital in Kentucky to earn three Gold Seals of Excellence from The Joint Commission.

Our health care system provides technology and services normally only available in much larger communities. We offer a full range of services with some of the most sophisticated equipment including Xi DaVinci Surgery System.

Danville has a lifestyle with appeal for all: families, young professionals or a single physician. The four-season moderate climate makes Danville a great place to call home in a beautiful bluegrass setting. Danville also has an excellent educational system as well as easy access to collegiate sports venues, cultural arts, recreational waters and parks, and airports.

Danville is located approximately 35 miles southwest of Lexington and 75 miles southeast of Louisville.

The urologist can expect to work a four to five day week in an out-patient setting and have operating room block schedule time. The urologist can expect to build a busy practice quickly.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a three year employed agreement with Ephraim McDowell Health Resources:

• Year One: Guaranteed Salary based on local market conditions. 
• Year Two and Year Three: Base Salary plus productivity
• There is no cap to potential income
