The Department of Pediatric Urology at the Children's Hospital of Michigan  treats children of all ages while specializing in the evaluation and management of fetal and congenital anomalies of the urinary tract and genitalia.  Additional diagnoses include antenatal hydronephrosis, undescended testis, hernia & hydrocele, hydronephrosis, kidney stones, vesicoureteral reflux, bladder exstrophy, hypospadias, epispadias, voiding dysfunction, disorders of sex development and nocturnal enuresis.

Our Pediatric Urology Department is ranked among America's best in U.S. News & World Report's 2014-2015 Best Children's Hospitals rankings and the Children's Hospital of Michigan is ranked as the top hospital in the state for pediatric urology care. The group consists of two Pediatric Urologists, a Pediatric Nephrologist, a Psychologist, and two Nurse Practitioners.

We are seeking an additional Pediatric Urologist due to practice expansion and our outreach services to neighboring communities. Clinic hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday. There is shared on-call responsibilities for nights and weekends; physicians have every third week call.  Candidates must be American BE/BC and have a favorable malpractice history.  Our ideal candidates will be robotics trained, have an interest/experience in pediatric endourology, and have an interest in academics, both teaching and research.

This is a great opportunity as you will have access to a dedicated Nephrologist, Psychologist, and Child Life Specialist. There is a strong residency program, a dedicated panda ambulance team, dedicated block-boarding schedule and surgical team.  Additionally, this is a verified level I trauma facility with a diverse population within the metropolitan tri-county area.
