Wellmont Health System is seeking a Urologist to join The Urology Clinic based in Johnson City/Bristol, Tennessee starting as soon as July of 2019.

The Urology Clinic is a busy practice that covers three hospitals in Bristol and Johnson City and has one office in each city.  They currently have 6 urologists and 3 advanced care practitioners.  

The group provides full service urology services for:

• Eastern Tennessee
• Southwest Virginia
• Western North Carolina

Very little urology is referred out to tertiary centers.  We have a unique environment in that we have a relatively small, close knit group, with no other competitive groups in the two primary cities that we practice, and no need for satellite clinics.  You can be as busy as you want, as quickly as you want.  Call is 1/6 and NP/PAs help on the weekends. The new urologist will be based primarily in our Bristol office.  Partnership tract is 1 year.  Once you've become a partner then a separate lithotripsy agreement is available.   

Bristol Regional Medical Center is a 348 bed Level 2 Trauma Facility with more than 270 physicians on staff. The hospital offers a broad scope of services and innovative technology including a da Vinci robot and the regions only Cyber knife.  The hospital offers a full range of surgical and medical specialties so your patients will be well taken care of while in the hospital if complications arise.
