Ocala Health is seeking a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon to join Ocala Health Vascular Surgery.
The incoming surgeon will join a well-established employed network of providers that includes primary care physicians and multiple specialists like cardiac and neurosurgeons.
The practice opened in 2018 and due to growth needs to add another motivated surgeon to their team.
Qualified Candidates:
• Full scope of Vascular practice
• Cover Ocala Health (a 2-facility health system with 430 beds)
• Practice Call will be 1:2
• Facility/ER Call 10 days per month
• ABMS Board Certification / Board Eligibility
• Experience preferred but new grads welcome to apply
Procedures / Capabilities:
• Carotid Endarterectomy
• Carotid Angiogram and Stenting
• Endovascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms repair
• Aortic Dissection (opened and endovascular)
• Intravascular Ultrasound
• Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm repair
• Surgical bypass
• Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair
• Venous Ablation
• Thrombolytic Therapy

Ocala Health is a 2-facility health system with 430 beds. Facilities have been consistently growing over the course of the last 5 years, having invested $210 M in capital improvements through 2018. Facility has another $60 M in construction underway to include expansion of ER, OR, and IP Bed Capacity at both facilities. Ocala Health is a high functioning Comprehensive Stroke and Level II Trauma Center, and is the only center in Marion, Hernando, Sumter and Citrus counties. The facility also leads a growing GME program in partnership with UCF.
