Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a full-time clinical Psychologist or mental health therapist to join its team of dedicated behavioral health professionals. As a compassionate and empathetic direct care provider, you will collaborate with the medical director and clinical staff to create treatment plans for clients and families. You will be making ongoing assessments and thoroughly be documenting each patient’s unique care plan. - Full-time; clinic day schedule
- Masters or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, or health-related field
- Current State of Alaska license as: Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- 2 years of experience providing family or individual therapy
- Strong foundational knowledge of comprehensive mental health issues in both theory and practice
- Knowledge, training, and experience utilizing assessment techniques and evidence-based interventions for specific populations
