Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a full-time Therapist or Social Worker to join its team of dedicated behavioral health professionals. As a compassionate and empathetic direct care provider, you will collaborate with the medical director and clinical staff as you provide care for both clients and their families. This ill involve making ongoing assessments and thoroughly documenting each patient’s unique care plan. - Full-time; clinic day schedule
- Masters or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, or health-related field
- Current State of Alaska license as: Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- 2 years of experience providing family or individual therapy
- Strong foundational knowledge of comprehensive mental health issues in both theory and practice
- Knowledge, training, and experience utilizing assessment techniques and evidence-based interventions for specific populations
