The ideal Director of Care / Director of Resident Services – RN / RPN will be a relational leader who enjoys working collaboratively with an engaged executive leadership team to create a truly home-like environment for staff, the families and especially the seniors that call this place home.

The Director of Care / Director of Resident Services – RN / RPN will lead members of the program team, seniors’ and families in the development of person-centred, comprehensive care plans tailored to each individual’s short and long-term goals and health needs.    

Who is the ideal Nurse we are looking for?

The Director of Care / Director of Resident Services – RN / RPN should have been a hard-working and compassionate RN or RPN who steadily developed their nursing leadership and administrative skills while being someone who is compassionate, caring, dedicated, a good listener, efficient and problem-solver.

The ideal RN / RPN for this role will bring strong nursing leadership skills (at least 5 years experience as DOC in LTC); excellent command of the Master Agreements (unionized site) and someone who lives to provide truly patient-centred care in all they do.
