Providence Seward Medical and Care Center is a 6-bed critical access hospital in this picturesque town on the edge of Resurrection Bay. Though Seward's population is about half out-of-towners during the tourist season, every patient at Providence Seward is treated like family. Our terrific community health care team offers an array of services, including a family medicine clinic, emergency, inpatient, physical therapy and on-site lab and imaging.

Seward is Alaska's most popular tourist town, nearly doubling in population to 6,000 people during the summer months. With soaring cliffs, misty forested fjords and protected ocean waters teeming with game fish, whales, sea otters, and more, Seward is iconic coastal Alaska. There's a lot to do on land, too, with a renowned sea life center, an abundance of dining choices - most offering incredible fresh seafood - frequent festivals, and hundreds of miles of hiking trails within a short drive of town.
