Parkridge Valley, a behavioral health facility of Parkridge
Medical Center, has served the tri-state area for over 32
years. Parkridge Valley provides unparalleled expertise in
treating a broad range of mental health and chemical
dependency issues for all ages.

The Child and Adolescent Services at Parkridge Valley
recognizes the need for a comprehensive continuum of
care that includes acute inpatient and partial
hospitalization, with networking to local professionals for
ongoing outpatient care. The Child and Adolescent
Program’s professional staff includes psychiatrists,
master’s and bachelor’s level family workers and
therapists, registered nurses, activity therapists and child
specialists. Parkridge Valley’s campus contains a
state-certified school, Valley Academy.

The Adolescent Acute Program is designed to help
troubled teens and their families identify problem areas
which interfere with their growth and development. The
inpatient experience provides an opportunity to stabilize
the crisis, assess the problem areas and coordinate
appropriate services.

The Adolescent Subacute Residential Program is a
short-term residential program designed to help troubled
teenagers with a prior history of failed outpatient and
inpatient psychiatric care. These patients require intensive
inpatient structure and support to raise awareness of their
destructive behavioral patterns.
