Provide safe, high-quality patient care through our opportunity for an emergency medicine physician to join our emergency department (ED) team full-time at SageWest Health Care - Riverton Campus in Riverton, Wyoming. Physician see a variety of cases from trauma to illness and patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Local trauma surgeons provide good support, and the nursing staff is very strong and experienced. Qualifications include board certified/prepared in emergency medicine or board certified/eligible in a primary care specialty with emergency medicine experience. This Level III Trauma Center supports a 12,000-annual-volume ED that provides coverage in 12-hour shifts. A hospitalist program is also in place, admission rate is 11%, EMR is MedHost, cover floor codes, helicopter service and EMS base station, and transfer rate 2%.
